Donald W. "Sheetzee" Sheets, 70, of Upper Fairfield Township, passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, with his wife and brother, Tom, by his side at the Gatehouse in Divine Providence Hospital. He was born Oct. 22, 1945, in Muncy a son of Guy T. and Beatrice Rider Sheets.
Don retired as a surveyor for the Pennsylvania Department of Highways and was a member of its State Employers Retirement Group.
He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Montoursville and was a 1963 graduate of the last class of Sullivan Highland High School.
He was a member of the Sons of The American Revolution, the Hughesville L.O.O.M., and the Glenn Sharrow American Legion Post 35.
He was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter and enjoyed the outdoors and people.
Don was predeceased by his parents and sister, Penny Sheets.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, the former Linda K. Levers; brothers, James R. of Berwick, Terry "Tom" of Glenn Mawr; and sister, Joyce A. of Muncy.
