Alice is the daughter of James Andreas Stevensen and Augusta "Gussie" Anina (Nielson) Stevensen, also buried in S.L.C. Cemetery, the 9th of 10 children. She married Lawrence L. "ole" Olsen 5 May 1925 and bore 2 daughters, Betty Shields and Saundra Snodgrass, before leaving S.L.C.
Before marriage she was a cosmetologist, dressing hair in the salon in the ZCMI Dept. Store, which she went back to during the depression.
After Ole died she bought a townhouse in Thousand Oaks (L.A. County west of the Valley), then rented it out after buying her home at 747 Juanita in Santa Barbara, where she died and later Betty lived.
Betty is buried in the Tooele City Cemetery and Saundra is in the Alpine Cemetery in San Diego County, CA., both buried next to their husbands.
