Birth year is determined from 1850 census. Death date is from family Bible. Asa was married first to Elizabeth Hawkins. After her death in 1844, he married second to Mary "Polly" Reagan.
Asa served in the War of 1812 and was granted a pension in 1834 for life of $33.33 per year. After his death, his second wife Mary was also granted a pension of $8 per month for his service.
Note: there was no tombstone located when this cemetery was visited in 1993.
