Davenport – Services for Viola “Vi” Baumann, 96, Davenport, will be 1:30 today at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation was 3-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Baumann died Sunday, June 3, 2001, at Manor Care Health Services, Davenport. She was a salesperson at Parker’s Department Store.

Viola Grimm was born February 14, 1905 in Davenport. She married Detlef Steenbock in 1927 in Davenport. He died in 1945. She married John Baumann in 1952 in Rock Island. He died in 1965.

Memorials may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Davenport, or Shriners Hospital for Children.
Survivors include a son, Wayne, Vista, California; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
