Catherine Marker was the wife of Daniel Spillers. They were married May 2, 1858. Together they moved from Ohio to Kent County Michigan. They had the following children; Aaron, Mary Adeline, Jacob A., Delila Margaret, Daniel, Andrew J., Martha Augusta, Nancy Belle and George Washington Spillers.
She shares a tombstone, which was quite beautiful and ornate at one time with ivy and vines carved and a small saying (now illegible) at the bottom, with her husband, Daniel. Next to theirs is a small, illegible stone and nearby are their two children, Delila and Daniel. Daughter Mary Spiller Berry and son Aaron Spillers are in the same plot.
Catherine is the daughter of Jacob and Sarah Marker. Her siblings are; George, Daniel, Margaret, Aaron, Mary, Jacob and Delila. Catherine and Daniel named each of their children after her siblings.
Catherine is my great great great grandmother.
