Clarence L. Leftwich, 98, of Van Buren died Sunday, March 28, 1999 in a local nursing home. He was a member of the Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church and a retired carpenter.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial in Alma City Cemetery in Alma.
He is survived by one daughter, Ellen Irene Muck of Van Buren; four sons, Cleo of Fort Smith, Walter Lee Leftwich of Prairieville, La., Carl Edward Leftwich of Raymondville, Texas, and Clarence Leftwich, Jr. of Van Buren; two sisters, Ruth Gillenwater of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Katherine Underwood of Dallas; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill and Jess Huff, Hugh and John Leftwich, Bill Riley and Eddie Spaunhurst.
