Mary Malissa Favor/Faver was a "Real Daughter of the American Revolution", D.A.R. member. National #44152 John Wade Keyes Chapter, admitted 10/1/1903

Her father was Revolutionary War soldier, John Faver; her mother was Mahala Hansen LEE-Faver-Covington.

Her first marriage was to Alfred Putnam Reid, Sr. They had two sons: Albert Macklin Reid and Alfred Putnam Reid II. Alfred, Sr. died about 1864 as a result of injuries suffered from his Union Civil War service.

Mary Malissa's second marriage was to William Richard Christopher. They had one set of twins; a son that died shortly after birth; and a daughter, Susan Lee 'Susalee' Christopher-Gray.
