Bonnie Jewel Seip, long time resident of Henderson, TX, passed away peacefully Thursday November 5th, 2015 in Flower Mound, Texas. The daughter of James and Alvie Lambert, Bonnie was born January 21, 1924 in Overton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years John M. Seip, her brother Robert Lambert, and her sisters Mary Elizabeth Lambert, Frances Slough, Louise Grimmett, Carrie Stom, and Beulah Hinton.

Bonnie and her husband were part of the early oil crews that helped establish the Saudi Arabian oil fields. She spent 30 years raising a family and supporting her husband working for ARAMCO. After retiring from the oil fields they returned home to Henderson, TX. A member of the Order of Eastern Stars, Bonnie was also a 33 year volunteer for the Henderson Hospital Auxiliary. Bonnie loved to cook, bake, sew, and garden with her husband.

Bonnie and John were long time members of the Henderson First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her two daughters, her son, her grand children and great-grand children.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 12 pm until service time at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Seip will follow at 2 pm on Saturday, November 7 in the chapel at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.
