Edna Ivens, 89, of Heber Springs passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in Heber Springs. She was born April 8, 1926 to John and Emma (Sammons) Douglas in Norfork, Arkansas.

Edna is survived by five children, Sandra Blankenship (Floyd) of Calico Rock, Marjetta White (William) of Heber Springs, Joan Marler (Rodger) of Gassville, Rex Ivens (Marcia) of Gassville and Michelle Hood (Mike) of Gassville; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlin Ivens; parents; step-mother, Maude Douglas; step-daughter, Glenda Messick; son, Jerry Ivens; granddaughter, Jennifer and great-granddaughter, Amanda.

Graveside funeral services will be Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery in Norfork, Arkansas with Bro. Gene Carson officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Hood, Derek, Jeremy and Justin Ivens, Justin Williams and Andy O’Neal. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Blankenship, Adam Branch, Lynn, Shawn and Bradley White.
