Mandrell “Lee” Adcock, age 74, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Baptist Health, Madisonville, KY. Mr. Adcock was born on April 5, 1941 in Ilsley, KY to the late James Owen Adcock and Ruby Pearline Hendrix Blanchard. He was a retired coal miner and he served his country in the United States Air Force from 1959 through 1967 during the Vietnam War. Mr. Adcock was a former member of the American Legion, and he was a member of the Al E. Orten Masonic Lodge in Dawson Springs having earned is 32 degree in Masonry.

Mr. Adcock is survived by his wife of forty seven years ~ Betty Jane Adcock; a daughter ~ Latasha Adcock of Lexington, KY, a son ~ Edward Adcock of Jacksonville, FL, three grandchildren ~ Emily, Anna and Chloe Adcock.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother ~ David Adcock.

Visitation for Mr. Mandrell Adcock will be on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home. There will be a Masonic Service on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 7:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home. On November 7, 2015 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Ilsley Cemetery where Military Rites will be presented by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard and the Hopkins County Honor Guard.

Pallbearers include: Bobby Minton, Michael Minton, Paul Minton, David Minton, Geoff Minton and Paul Poole.
