Frank Black, 74 of Eminence, died Tuesday, October 4th at the Friendship Manor Nursing Home, Pewee Valley. He was a native of Bagdad, Kentucky; a retired Gulf Oil Distributor in Eminence for thirty-five years; former member of the Eminence Board of Education for 22 years; and past president and member of the Eminence Rotary Club.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marcia Hundley Black, Eminence; one daughter, Mrs. Claude (Bobbye) Brock, Eminence; one son, Ronald Black, Eminence; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 6th at the Eminence Christian Church. Rev. Elgin Smith, pastor of the Greencastle Christian Church, Greencastle, Indiana, officiated, assisted by Rev. Lloyd Moody of Eminence. Interment was in the Bagdad Cemetery.
