Carroll Daily Times Herald - Thursday, February 5, 1942 -Hattie I. Aldritt, daughter of Henry and Irene Canfield, was born Nov. 26, 1864 at Morrison, Whiteside County, IL. She was united in marriage with John H Aldritt at Morrison, IL in January 1886.
Five children were born to this union: Roy Aldritt of Miami, Fla.; Mrs. William Miller (Mable), San Francisco, Calif.; Miss Clara Aldritt, Englewood, Calif.; Mrs. Clark Hedges (Edna), Des Moines; and Mrs. T. Satterfield (Ruth), Glidden.
Mr. and Mrs. Aldritt moved from Illinois to a farm which they purchased in Greene County, Ia., in 1900 and remained there for a period of six years and at this time purchased a home in Glidden and have spent their remaining years here. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was active in all of the various organizations of the church.
She passed away Feb. 3, 1942, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T.B. Satterfield. Her husband preceded her in death 10 years ago.
