William Marshall Thomas, 97, of Temple, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006, at Hearthstone Assisted Living Facility. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, at Oakwood Cemetery with Father Albert LaForet officiating.
William Marshall was born in St. Joseph, Mo., to the late Clay and Kathryn Thomas. He was a very accomplished brick mason and a member of the union for in excess of 77 years. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco and a life time member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hortense Agee Thomas.
Survivors include nephews, James Thomas and Patrick H. Thomas, of Texas; and his niece, Sydney L. Thomas, of Amazonia, Mo.
