SLUSHER- STANDISH, Helen L. age 79, of Vandalia, passed away peacefully at home with family present on Thursday, February 26, 2004. Helen was the co-owner of Aristocrat Realty retiring in 1995 and a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Raymond C. Standish in 2002. Helen leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters & sons-in-law, Margaret "Peggy" & Larry Jordan, Betty & Monty Young; grandchildren, Theresa Crews, Chris Whiffen & wife Cheryl, Rick Young, Greg Young & wife, Leanne, Mike Young & wife Karen, Terry Young; step-daughters & their husbands, Kathy Garrison & Geof, Cindy Stueve & David; step-daughters, Susan Colon, Mary Standish; step-son, Charles Standish; 6 great grandchildren & 4 step-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 28, 2004 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 5566 Chambersburg Road with Pastor William A. Schreiber officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM Saturday until service time. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45420 in Helen's memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Marker & Heller Funeral Homes, Huber Heights Chapel.
