COMISH, EDELENE W. "MAMA C" A resident of Baton Rouge and native of Alexandria, she died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at Sherwood Manor. She was 90. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, and in the chapel from 9 a.m. until service at noon Thursday, Oct. 21. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a daughter, Elizabeth "Bitsy" Pearce and husband Jack; three sons, Edwin C. Comish and wife Billie M., Charles R. "Ray" Comish and wife Cathy and John B. Comish and wife Alice; two sisters, Clara Thigpen and Mattie Rae Coppage; two brothers, Paul D. White and wife Joanne and George R. White and wife Beulah; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Edwin Comish. She was a member of Broadmoor United Methodist Church.
