Christine enjoyed battling chipmunks in order to protect her flower beds and keeping the house clean. She especially loved attending her children's extra-curricular activities and leaving multiple messages on their cell phones.
Christine is survived by her husband, Scott M. A. Bork of Midland; daughter, Sarah Green of St. Louis, Mo.; sons, Michael A. M. Bork (fiance Erin Davis) of Greenville, S.C., and Jonathan Bork of Midland; sisters, Julieanne (Robert) Pofahl of Madison and Allie Ruth (John) Simon of Oconomowoc; and sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Steve) Bockmann of Dearborn, Mich., Gretchen (Tom) Iverson of Amherst, Wenda (Don) Walter of Colchester, Vt., and Carolyn (Grew) Bork of Nashville, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Patrick Bork; and first husband, David Green.
Funeral services will be held at Monona United Methodist Church, 606 Nichols Road, Monona, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, with the Rev. Brad Van Fossen presiding. Burial will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Gunderson East Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
