On November 18, 1988, Marvin married Carolena Barnes in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Syracuse before moving to Springville, Utah in 1999. She died in 2009. He loved John Wayne movies and baseball. For the past seven years, he has been a resident at Heritage Hills Care Center in Nephi, Utah. Marvin Daniel Flint died Friday, October 30, 2015, in Nephi, Utah, of double pneumonia. He was 65.
