Harold Grady Day, 79. passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Tomkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Day was the son of the late James Orin & Willie Jo Daniel Day. He was a lifelong resident of Wilkinson County. Mr. Day was preceded in death by sons, Dennis and Hank Day. He was a retired employee of Engelhard Corporation.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Starley Day of Toomsboro; a daughter, Margie Dean and husband Jimmy of McIntyre; a son, Harry Day and wife Milly of Milledgeville; a sister, Virginia Smallwood of Byron; three brothers, James Day and wife Odessa of Toomsboro, Joe Day of McIntyre and Wayne Day of Atlanta; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
