ROSS WILSON, 86, of Genoa, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 31, 2015. He was born November 20, 1928 at Genoa, a son of the late Taylor and Annie Ferguson Wilson. His wife Grace Wilson also preceded him in death along with five brothers and sisters-in-law, Clyde Wilson (Mildred), Edgar Wilson (Viola), Herman Wilson (Esta), Willard Wilson (Susie), and Earl Wilson (Rosie); two sisters and brothers-in-law, Edith Saal (Ernest) and Ona Scraggs (Virgil); a granddaughter, Kelly Dawn Wilson; and a granddaughter-in-law, Alisha Renee Wilson. Ross retired from the Wayne County Board of Education where he was a bus driver for 24 years, and was a member of Wilson Chapel Church on Tolsia Highway, W.Va.

He leaves behind his three sons, Robert Lee Wilson and wife Melba Berry Wilson, Don Edward Wilson and wife Edna Crabtree Wilson, and Billy Lynn Wilson and wife Darlene Mills Wilson, all of Genoa; three grandchildren, Sherry L. Fruth (Rob), Brian E. Wilson (Erin), and Billy L. Wilson II; six great grandchildren, Bret Michael Eaves (Brook), Ciana Grace Eaves, Melany Elizabeth Wilson, Gabriel Brook Wilson, Billy L. Wilson III, and his namesake, Elijah Ross Wilson; and one great grandson, Aiden Michael Eaves.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Copley and Pastor Lemuel Little officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery.
