CHESHIRE -- A memorial service will be held Aug. 4 for Reyna M. Nelson of Cheshire, who died July 30 of cancer. She was 43.

She was born Dec. 10, 1956, in Eugene to Raymond and Nina Petersen Jensen. She married William Nelson in Junction City on June 22, 1979.

Nelson graduated from Junction City High School and attended Merrit-Davis Business College and Lane Community College. She was president of the Royal Stone Jewelry Co. and had worked at various local banks as a teller. She also worked at Oregon State University in the foreign exchange student department. She moved from Junction City to Cheshire in 1982.

Nelson was a member of Bible Study Fellowship. She enjoyed beachcombing, movies, jewelry, gospel music, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband; a son, William of Eugene; her mother; two brothers, Dan Jensen of Yuba City, Calif., and Dave Jensen of Cameron Park, Calif.; six sisters, Adrian Blakely and Darlene Maddox, both of Portland, Judi Jensen of Beaverton, Kathy Tollefson of Pasco, Wash., Cheri Dickman of Junction City; and Valerie Hibbard of Eugene.

Friday's service will be at 7 p.m. at Eugene Faith Center. Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cannon Beach Conference Center.
