Cyrus Weekes was lost at Sea in the Atlantic Ocean between the Grand Bahamas and New York on the Amelia Starkey with his brother Alphonso Weekes. They are both memorialized on the side of their brother's memorial (Fessenden Weekes - FAG# 73565788) in South Harwich Cemetery (Massachusetts), (40.67784, -70.04670) where many of there family are buried.

Cyrus Married his cousin Lydia Maria Tripp in 1854. They had three children, Maria, Alphonso, and Cyrus III. In 1868 she remarried Benjamin F. Stone. She died in Manchester, Massachusetts in 1922. Death records indicate she is buried in the South Harwich Cemetery.
