Steven E. (Adams) Broughton, 57, of Beatrice died at the Beatrice Community Hospital on Thursday night,
October 29, 2015. He was born January 10, 1958 at Julesburg, CO and graduated from Chase County High
School in Imperial in 1976.

He married Brenda Dinnel on April 10, 1976 in Imperial and they lived and farmed in the Enders area. They also lived in Kearney and McCook before returning to Imperial where he worked for an irrigation company. In 1988, they moved to Gering and he was employed for the Nebraska Department of
Agriculture. He later received his real estate license. They moved to Beatrice in 2011.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, visiting, was a bargain hunter and an avid Husker fan.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda of Beatrice; three sons, Jeff Broughton and wife Danielle and Justin Broughton and wife Lindsay all of Lincoln and Garrett Broughton and wife Laura of Portland, OR; four grandchildren, Jayce, Dylan, Ryker and Claire and soon to be born granddaughter; parents, Jane and Elroy Broughton of Sidney; parents-in-law, Verlon and Lucille Dinnel of Imperial; two sisters, Brenda Bump and husband Bruce of Chadron and Rhonda Broughton
of Sidney; one brother, Roland Broughton and wife Brenda of Sidney; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Malvin Adams.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. CST on Sunday,
November 8, 2015 at Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice.

Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery of Imperial at
10:00 A.M. MST on Monday, November 9, 2015.

A memorial has been established to the family's choice.
The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice from 8:00 A.M. Saturday, November 7, 2015
until time of services on Sunday. A guestbook for signatures and messages of condolence is available online
