Charles Floren Bell, 85, 3344 S. 9th West, died Friday at 12:33 a.m. at his residence of a heart ailment.
A son of Alfred and Amanda McCormick Bell, he was born April 9, 1864 in Logansport, Ind.
Mr. Bell came to Salt Lake City in 1905. He was a carpenter before retiring several years ago. Mr. Bell was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are his widow, Fern Bowersock Bell; a son, John L. Bell; three daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Hudson, Miss June Bell, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Evelyn Holt, Portland, and six grandchildren.

BELL--Funeral services for Charley Floren Bell of 3344 S. 9th West, will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the chapel at Sunset Lawn. Friends may call at the mortuary, 2350 E. 13th South, Sunday until 8:30 p.m. and Monday prior to services. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery under direction of Sunset Lawn mortuary.
