Fred Dochenetz, 52, of Bentleyville, died unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015. He was born Dec. 28, 1961, in Monongahela the son of the late Frank Dochenetz and Frances "Dolly" Vinkovich Dochenetz of Bentleyville. Fred was a graduate of Bentworth High School and earned two associate degrees in HVAC and Plumbing. He owned and operated Bentleyville Plumbing & Heating for over 30 years and also managed and operated Bentleyville Hardware. He was a member of the Polish Club, Independent Club, and The Bentleyville Eagles all of Bentleyville and was a member of the Turkeyfoot Sportsman's Club of Confluence. Fred loved spending time at his camp in Confluence and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and always socializing with the people that he would meet. He was a hard worker starting at a young age by traveling with his father on service calls for the hardware store and was rarely ever seen without his German Shepherd and faithful companion "Bart". Surviving in addition to his mother is his daughter Ariel Dochenetz. Deceased in addition to his father are his sister, Cathy Gregor; and an infant daughter.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 619 Main St., Bentleyville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at a time to be announced. Interment will be in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
