Nancy Ann Pate, 60, of Waldo, Arkansas, passed away at her home on Sunday, September 27th, 2015.

Her goal in life was to be a good wife, mother and grandmother. Those were the most important. She loved young people, all young people. She loved her church and her church family. She wanted to say thank you to them for always being there for her when she needed them.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: her parents, Sam and Estelle Barnett; her father‐in‐law
and mother‐in‐law, Altus and Mary Pate; her granddaughter, Gracie Beth Oglesby; her grandson, T.J.
Pate; her brother, John Barnett; her brother‐in‐law Jim Hughes; brother‐in‐law Maurice Beard; and her sister‐in‐law, Mary Hines Butler.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years and the love of her life, James Pate of Waldo; her three children, which she adored, Jay Oglesby and wife, Mandy of Village; Greta Hunter and husband, Antwyne of Dallas, Texas; Jessica Barr and husband, Mark of Waldo; her beautiful granddaughters, Cassidy, Makaylee and Paisley Oglesby of Ruston, Louisiana; Megan and Riley Stultz of Village; Heidi Barr of Waldo; Haylen Hunter of Dallas, Texas; her precious grandsons, Brandon Oglesby of Village; Jordan Hunter of Dallas, Texas; Heath Barr of Waldo; three sisters, Nellie Sue Beard of Lafayette, Louisiana; Jena Creech and husband, Louis, of Stamps; Paula Hughes of Magnolia; two brothers‐in‐law, Johnny Pate and wife Virginia Annette of Waldo; Ronny Pate and wife, Glenda of McNeil; sister‐in‐law Patricia Clark and husband, David of Waldo; special friends Bo, Laurie, Hayden and Katy Hicks; Lorrie Lightfoot; Sandy Hart; Amy Gass; and Jaime Simmons, mother of some of her granddaughters; nephews Tim Cain, Wesley Chaney, Kenny Barnett, Jimmy Ryals, Jason Pate, Wesley Pate, Michael Clark, Daniel Clark, Ethan Clark and Gary Hines; nieces Wendy Reed, Becky Smith, Jennifer Driscoll, Cathy Galloway, Kayla Phillips, Dawn Butler, Julie Pate and Shelda Shackelford; and many aunts, uncles, great‐nieces and great‐nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Rugged Cross Cowboy Church with Bro. Ed Phillips and Bro. Shane Crank officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Waldo or to Shiloh Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Burr, Jerry Burr, Mark Burr, Brian Baird, Brandon Oglesby, John Henry, and John Lightfoot.
