Mrs. Nellie I. Martin

Her many friends in this city will regret to learn of the death of Mrs. Nellie I. Martin, wife of C.H. Martin, which occurred in Pasadena, Cal., on Saturday morning. Mrs. Martin, who was a former resident of Grant street, this city, went west six weeks ago in hopes of improving her health. Her remains are being shipped to this city and are expected to arrive the last of the week.

Mrs. Martin was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Cummings of Wilmington avenue, from which place the services will be held as soon as the body arrives in this city. The interment will be made in Hoagland cemetery, Mercer county. Besides her husband and parents Mrs. Martin leaves to mourn her loss the following brothers and sisters: Alvie Cummings of County Line street, Robert of Court street, Mrs. Scott Frankenburt (sic) of Volant and Roy, Ruth and Marie, at home.
