Darrel Douglas Senner, age 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Glendive Medical Center.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Bethlehem Mennonite Church in Bloomfield, Montana with Pastor Darrel Nefzger officiating. A Private Family Burial will be held in the Bethlehem Mennonite Cemetery in Bloomfield. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive, Montana has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Doug was born May 31, 1931 to William and Edna (Miller) Senner. Doug was born during the depression and learned how to work hard at an early age due to his father contracting polio. By the age of six, one of Doug’s responsibilities was to fill two 50 gallon barrels of water each week from the well using only a gallon bucket. After high school he worked for Sterhan Construction, and then returned to the farm.

Doug met Audrey Ziech at Eastern Montana Bible Camp in 1955; they were married on March 11, 1956 and resided on Doug's parents' homestead for two years before purchasing their farm south of Richey. Together they raised five children and were married for 58 years. Doug's devotion to Audrey was a true example of God's love and faithfulness. Times were tough and his faith and strength saw them through many ups and downs.

Doug had many interests. He completed many remodeling projects in the house, loved to visit, travel, restore old cars and attend auction sales. He served on the Richey School Board along with the ASCS and Mid Rivers boards.

Doug was preceded in death by his wife Audrey, his parents and his sister Inez Senner.

Doug is survived by his children, Mitchell (Dena) Senner, Denise (Byron) Dean, Brad Senner, Darren Senner and Shari (Girard) Goroski. Grandchildren, Marleigh (JC), Mykala, Trina (Josh), Tyler, Brandon (Chandel), Nicole (Shane), Kyle (Nicole), Aaron (Mariah), Shelby, Chance, Breann, Garrett and Gavin. Great-grandchildren; Cameron, Liam, Dawson, Jayden and Ariah. His brother, Rod (Jackie) Senner and sister, Eloise (Victor) Koehn, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Eastern Montana Bible Camp or the Gideons.
