Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waite Park, for Lawrence J. Haefner, 67, 802 Third Ave. S, Waite Park, who died Thursday at his home. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call at 5 p.m. Sunday at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m.

Lawrence Haefner was born March 60, 1920, in Eagle Lake to Conrad and Magdalena (Drummer) Haefner. He married Madeline Felling on Oct. 20, ,1967. He worked as a cabinetmaker and was a member of the Catholic Order of Forresters.

Survivors include his wife, Madeline, Waite Park; a son, Tanes Barclay, Sauk papids; daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Nancy Jo) Simmonds, Fort Wayne, Ind., Mrs. Dann (Joan) Melin, Burlington, Iowa, Mrs. Terry (Sheila) Barclay-Bozzo, Madison, Wis.; a brother, Roman, Mandate; four sisters, Mrs. Loretta Frederick, Mrs. Marcella Thissen and Mrs. Lorraine Sleeper, all of Mankato and Mrs. Lucille Becker, San Andreas Calif.; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
