She was born and raised in Fort Worth. Mrs. Pitcock devoted much time to her church and served as Church Secretary for 10 years, and was a youth counselor. She was a member of the Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Club, Garden Study Club. Her civic activities included participation in many worthwhile projects for Graham. Mrs. Pitcock was the secretary for the Graham Community Concert Association at the time of her death.
Survived by her husband; three sons - Louis Pitcock, Jr., Roy Pitcock, J. Duff Pitcock; her mother - Mrs. Jurant Shpherd; two brothers - George Shepherd and Jurant Shepherd, Jr; three grandchildren.
