Mrs. Bessinger is survived by her sons, Gary Bessinger(Lorrie) and Louis Michael Bessinger; daughters, Vicki Gendron, Brenda Smith(Billy) and Janice Holman; sisters, Edna Reese, Juanita Edwards and Dorothy Dutton; 15 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Bessinger and her parents, Samuel and Victoria Bracknell. Services were held at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama on January 2, 2015. Honorary Pallbearers were Amedisys Hospice (Beth Herren and Leigh Hardin); and West Alabama Senior Center (Nikki Poe). Services were officiated by Dr. Bob Crider with Rockco Funeral Home Centreville directing.
