Ham Bros. Chapel

Funeral services for Charles F. Pickett were held Sunday, April 15, in the chapel at Ham Bros. Funeral Home, at 3 o'clock, with Rev. H. L. McKissack, assisted by Rev. Lon Brown, of Groesbeck, officiating.
Mr. Pickett was born in Alabama, November 19, 1861, and came to Texas as a young man. He married Miss Rosa Lee Mock in Franklin County, in 1887, who preceded him in death May 1, 1933.
Born to this union are three boys, Thomas Y., Charles Harry and Paul Dewitt Pickett, all of Dallas, and four daughters, Mrs. Agie Easterling, Groesbeck; Mrs. Louella Sims, Mrs. Elsie Bailey, Mrs. Ernestine Davis of Dallas. Nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers, J. L. and Leroy Pickett; one sister, Mrs. J. B. Cobb.
Pallbearers were nephews of Mr. Pickett, Clarence, Tom, Asa, Odell and Robert A. Pickett, Lawrence, Jack and George Young.
