Mrs. Adams, who died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006, at Riverside Assisted Living, was born March 10, 1911, in Eatonton, Ga., to Frank Tondee and Mary Spivey Adams. She was a retired clerk for the city of Decatur after more than 30 years of service, and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was involved in many church and civic organizations through the years.
Survivors include one nephew, Neb Shackleford and wife Elisabeth, of Hartselle; and four great-nieces and great-nephews, of Birmingham.
