O. H. Stringfellow, Oskaloosa, father of Homer Stringfellow, died at Mahaska hospital Monday evening, March 15, 1954 at 11:45.
He was an employee of the Railway Express company previous to his retirement and for the past few years had operated a grocery store, at Oskaloosa.
Surviving are his wife, Maggie Stringfellow, a daughter, Mrs. Leona Nelson, Minneapolis, Minn. and Homer Stringfellow, Eddyville, also four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, March 18 at 3:30 with Rev. Dwight Walker, pastor of the Christian church Oskaloosa, officiated.
The TriLunar Masonic lodge held their services.
Burial was made in the Forest cemetery, Oskaloosa.
