Norma Jean Brower, 67, of Grants Pass died Friday, April 18, 1997, at her home.
Services have been held at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors chapel with the Rev. Dennis Dickson officiating. Private interment was at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

She was born Norma Jean Standridge on March 12, 1930, in Dover, Ark. On May 18, 1974, in Stockton, Calif., she married James N. Brower who died Nov. 13, 1994. In June 1994 she moved to Grants Pass from Stockton.
She was a member of the North Valley Assembly of God Church.
Her hobbies included sewing, crafts, and her property, where she spent many hours working and feeding wildlife. She especially loved her dog, Fifi, who traveled everywhere with her, and she enjoyed helping others.
Survivors include a son, Randy Mason of Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, Brenda Rickel of Dover, Ark., and Deborah Anderson of Grants Pass; a stepson, Jim Brower of Eugene; two stepdaughters, Terry Reich of Stockton, Calif., and Debbie Wilson of Hanford, Conn.; her mother, Hazel Standridge of Tracy, Calif.; five brothers, the Rev. B.J. Standridge of Oroville, Calif., Othel Standridge of Stockton, Calif., Carl Standridge of Eureka, Kan., Everett Standridge of Tracy, Calif., and Larry Standridge of Colorado; a sister, Linda Standridge of Sacramento, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
