Doris L. Watts, 84, of Indianapolis passed away October 27, 2915. She was born April 22 1931 in Covington, KY the daughter of John H. and Nancy Ponders Lewis.
Doris was a retired teacher with Brownsburg High School. She was a member of Phi-Beta-Psi sorority, American Cancer Society, and Avon United Methodist Church. Doris did volunteer work for United Methodist Women’s Group.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl W. Watts. She is survived by one son, four daughters, two son-in-laws, two sisters, and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday November 2, 2015 at Conkle Funeral Home Avon Chapel with visitation from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Alzheimers Association.
