Gottfried Heinitz, 63, Galt farmer and carpenter-builder, passed away Monday in a Stockton hospital following a long illness. A native of Russia, Heinitz came to this country when he was 7-years-old and moved to the Lodi district in 1934. He was the husband of the late Amalia Heinitz and father of the ate George and Harvey Heinitz.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Alvina Plath, Mrs. Linda Cooper, and Mrs. Wallard Seavert, all of Galt brothers, Jacob Heinitz, Lodi, and Alex Heinitz, Carson, N.D.; a sister, Mrs. Reinhardt Steinkey, Mountain Lake, Minn.
Other survivors are a brother-in-law, Reinert Heinitz, Carson, N.D.; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Julia Heinitz, Lodi.
