Charles Butler was born November 10, 1943 in Tom, Oklahoma to Francis Robertson and Ross Butler.

He passed away Aug. 4, 2012 at his home in Tom.

Butler enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Charles lived in Tom all his life. He worked for the Street Department in Idabel for 20 years and retired.

Charles was a member of Moon Church of God in Moon, Okla. He and Betty Roberts were married in 1967.

Charles was preceded in death by his father Ross Butler and mother Francis Robertson.

Butler leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Betty Butler of the home; five daughters, Carolyn Camble and husband Aaron Camble of Tom, Okla., Denise Butler of De Queen, Ark., Barbara Sanders of Ashdown, Ark., Tonya Rankins of California, and Casandra McGinnis of Oklahoma City; six sons, Ricky Roberts and wife Margaret, of Idabel, Okla., Carl and wife, Mary Butler of Ashdown, Ark., Tony and wife Latrisha Butler of Broken Bow, Okla., Charles (Mel) and wife Gina Butler, of Idabel, Okla., and Tyrone Butler of Tom, Okla.; 27 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, along with a host of friends and other relatives.

Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Haworth School Auditorium. The family will receive visitation Friday, August 10, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Hamburg Funeral Home in Ashdown, Ark.

Interment will follow at Della Simpson Cemetery in Tom, Okla.
