Nellie A. McHugh, 106, died Thursday, November 8, 2007, at the Foothills Presbyterian Home in Easley. Born in Clemson she was the daughter of the late Lee I. and Annetta Goodman McHugh.

Miss McHugh was the oldest member of Fort Hill Presbyterian Church in Clemson and was a faithful member for more than 90 years. She was the Secretary to the Deans of Engineering at Clemson University for 43 years until her retirement in 1966.

She is survived by several devoted nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Foothills Presbyterian Home in Easley on Monday at 2:30 p.m. A private committal service will be held at the Old Stone Church Cemetery prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Foothills Presbyterian Home, 205 Bud Nalley Dr., Easley, SC 29642, or to Fort Hill Presbyterian Church, 399 College Ave., Clemson, SC 29631.
