Virginia "Ginger" Thibedeau was born on Aug. 16, 1952 in Chicago, the daughter of Harry and Margaret Thibedeau. A 1970 graduate of Hayward High School, Ginger worked for over two decades at the Northern Lakes Cooperative in Hayward and was also a server at several area supper clubs, most notably Pine Ridge in Stone Lake.
Ginger is survived by four children, April (Chuck) Schweikert of Northfield, Minn., Penny (Dan) Kurszewski of Oak Creek, Wis., Bill (Lindsey) Snow Jr. of Madison, Wis., and Monica Berget of Milwaukee, Wis.; four grandchildren, Noah, August, Ava, and Helen; two sisters, Meri (Al) Will of Superior, Wis., and Cindy Kern of Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; one brother, Harry (Tina) Thibedeau of Green Bay, Wis. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral: The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009 at the Hayward Wesleyan Church with Pastor Mark Wilson officiating.
Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Stone Lake.
A social gathering to share the joy and love that Ginger brought to the world will be held at Pine Ridge following the burial.
