Susannah (7)and her older brother James Seth (12) came across the plains practically alone after both parents Thomas Paul Beddis and Ann Cole Beddis and younger brother (Joseph Hiram Thomas Beddis)died after leaving the Port of New Orleans in May of 1854 trying to get to SLC. The children arrived in Salt Lake City in September of 1854 and were met by Joseph Robinson and his wife Alice (Booth)who took them in and raised them. Susannah married her foster father in 1864 when she was 17 years old. After Joseph Robinson died Susannah married David Booth and later William England. She died in Plain City in 1920 and is buried in the Plain City Cemetery. Information from "The History of Plain City".
