Mr. Curry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. There he received The Purple Heart and after leaving the ARMY he returned to Catahoula Parish to farm and raise cattle until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his father, Solon Elisha Curry; mother, Clara Curry; two sons, Jack and Brannon Curry; first wife,Dorothy Cowart Curry, and brother, the Rev. Mayo Curry.
