Gladys P. Quesenberry, 82, of Salem, died Monday, October 24, 1994, in a Roanoke Nursing home.

Born in Elliston and was a member of Goodwin Memorial United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Oden Quesenberry.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Wilma Quesenberry, Columbia, S.C., J.W. and Junko, Richmond, Jerry and Janice, Roanoke; three daughters, Loraine Smith, Chicago, Barbara and Bill Sifford, Rector, Ark., Betty Joyner, Salem; 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arnold Pendleton, Shawville, Fred Pendleton, Elliston; a sister, Mildred Bayse, Elliston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem on Thursday, October 27, 1994, 2 p.m. with the Rev. Thomas C. Clay officiating. Interment will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
