Deceased was a native of Marksville but had resided in Alexandria for thirty-five years. He was a carpenter by trade and had been engaged in the contracting business.
He is survived by his wife, four sons and one daughter. They are L.J. Goudeau, Alexandria; E.H. Goudeau, Hessmer; O.J. Goudeau, Bunkie; Ogden Goudeau, Winnfield; Mrs. E.P. Gremillion, Alexandria. He also leaves one brother, Hilary Goudeau of St. Louis.
His funeral was held at 3:15 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, from St. Francis Xavier's Cathedral, where services were conducted, after which interment was made under the direction of Morgan Brothers.
