Charles Edward Davidson, age 75 of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Gainesboro, Tenn, to the late Hiram Alaska Davidson and Ethel Avo Stafford Davidson. He had lived in Hapeville, GA., before moving to Monticello, 26 years ago. Before retirement, he worked as a Radio dispatcher for the Yellow Cab Company. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella Ida Edwards Davidson; daughter, Cynthia Davidson Brock; grandchildren, "Bucky" Stephens and Danielle Reeves; and brothers and sisrers, Richard Davidson, Pauline Abbey, Betty Jean Stocks, Mable Willhite, Lewis Davidson, and Jerry Davidson, Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Callie Fuller Baptist Church. interment will be held in the Callie Fuller Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Charles Roper will officiate.
