Adeline Kroening, age 101, of Wausau and formerly of the Pelican Lake area, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, in Wausau. She was born on July 4, 1914, in Merrill, to Carl and Bertha (Heidemann) Buchholz.
Adeline married Edwin Kroening on Dec. 14, 1932, in Pine River in Lincoln County. They moved to Oneida County in 1939 where Adeline resided until health issues caused her move to Wausau.
Edwin preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 1984. Adeline was a faithful member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Enterprise.
Interment will be in the Enterprise Cemetery.
