Genevieve N. Fincham, 84, Graham, MO., died Saturday, June 11, 2005, at Autumn House, Maryville, MO.

She was born Nov. 6, 1920 in St. Joseph, MO., the daughter of Oliver and Bessie Chapman Clark.

She married Merritt Scotton Aug. 24, 1938. He died in 1950. She then married Carroll Jennings Fincham Oct. 3, 1953. He died in 1966.

She lived in Graham for 30 years and worked at Nodaway Nursing Home for 17 years. She was a Baptist.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Merritt Scotton V.; two sisters, Esther Goldizen and Mary Lucese; two brothers, Eugene Akin and Richard Clark; and a grandson.

She is survived by six daughter, Thelma Scotton, Karen Selleck, and Gay Fincham of Hopkins, Nancy Nash of Buffalo, Lola Ringgold of Maryville, and Lovella Wilkinson of Stewartsville; two sons, Carroll Fincham Jr., and Darroll Fincham, of the home; a sister, Pearl LaJoie of St. Joseph; two brothers, Frank Clark of St. Joseph, and Robert Clark of Macks Creek; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be Saturday, at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Joseph, Mo.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service. She has been cremated.
