He is survived by his wife Pauline Covarrubia; children Isaac Covarrubia and Clarissa Covarrubia; sisters, Gloria Fernandez and late husband Raul, and Maria Ernestina Gallegos (Richard); brother, Alfredo Duncan (Vangelina); four grandchildren and one on the way, and nieces and nephews.
For Ernest, his family came first and he loved his family. He also loved his friends and they loved him.
Visitation was Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Alta Vista Funeral Chapel in Natalia, Texas, with Rosary at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass was at 10:00 am at St John Bosco Catholic Church in Natalia, followed by graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery in Devine, Texas.
