David Henry Dixon, age 85, of Bismarck, passed from this life on Monday, October 19, 2015 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs. He was born on August 31, 1930 in Hot Springs, the son of the late John Wesley and Alcie Adeline Chancellor Dixon. David owned and operated Deluxe Barber Shop in Hot Springs and was a United States Navy veteran. He was a member of Oak Bower Church of Christ and enjoyed golfing. David was preceded in death by one sister, Claudine Avant and four brothers, Doye, Rush, James & Johnny Dixon.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Tucker Dixon of Bismarck, his daughter, LeAnette Dixon of Bismarck, two grandchildren, David Matthew York (Ashley) of Hot Springs and Emily Christin York of Bismarck and two great grandchildren, Preston York of Hot Springs and Isaac York of Bismarck.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Jeremy Bell officiating. Interment will be in Oak Bower Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time on Thursday.

Memorials may be made to the Oak Bower Cemetery Fund.
