Aaron Michael Greathouse, 17, of Seymour, passed from this life at 3:26 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2015, as the result of a traffic accident in Jackson County.

Aaron was a Senior at Seymour High School and a member of Young Marines. He Attended Northview Assembly of God and Second Baptist Church. An outdoor enthusiast, Aaron enjoyed fishing and hunting. He enjoyed helping people, especially kids.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Revs. Randy Burton and Larry Rowe officiating. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Born in Columbus, October 23, 1997, Aaron was the son of Albert and Katrina Washington Greathouse.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Albert and Tausha Greathouse of Seymour; mother and step-father, Katrina and Glenn Adams of Columbus; brothers, Kyle Greathouse, Ezra Greathouse, Tyler Curran all of Seymour, Jalen Luken and Jaxon Adams both of Terre Haute; sisters, Brianna Greathouse of Louisville, Natasha Greathouse of Seymour, Mercedes Henderson of Columbus, Jacey Adams, Jadyn Adams and Jordyn Adams all of Terre Haute, Kelsi Curran and Kailyn Curran both of Seymour; grandparents, Russell and Rita England, Derrick and Deborah Combs, Laura Brightwell and Marlin and Shirley Adams all of Columbus; great-grandmother, Iva Rutherford of Columbus and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Brightwell.
