She was born March 27, 1929 in Brookfield, MO, daughter of Maudie and Archie Cordray. She worked at Nelle Don and Sherwood Medical. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and she loved her animals. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, John Leo Grubbs on January 2, 1964, her 2nd husband, Joseph Grubbs, on September 9, 2011, a son, Clarence Grubbs, in 1948, 5 brothers, and 6 sisters. Survivors include daughter, Zola (Gary) Richey of Saint Joseph, MO, a son, John (Pat) Grubbs of St. Joseph, MO, 5 grandchildren, Terri (Frexy) Crotty of St. Joseph, MO, Kristina Roe of Platte City, MO, Dottie (Mike) Douglas of St. Joseph, MO, Renee (Mike) Carpenter of St. Joseph, MO, and Gary, Jr. (Mandy) Richey, of St. Joseph, MO., 16 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.
